Are AMDs hypoallergenic?

While no breed is 100% hypoallergenic, AMDs typically inherit low-shedding, low-allergen coats from their poodle lineage. Many families with mild to moderate allergies find AMDs very manageable. Personally, we have a family allergist who we consulted at length - our family has specific allergies to dog saliva and dander - so while Twyla doesn't shed, we also worked with a professional trainer to reduce licking.

How big will an AMD get?

Our mini aussie mountain doodles are typically 27-35 lbs.

Do you have a health guarantee?

Yes, we offer a one year health guarantee for testable genetic conditions and life-threatening congenital defects.

Where are you located?

We're located in west Escondido, California, in an area referred to as North County.

Can I visit my puppy before puppy-pick up day?

Since we raise puppies within our home, and because their immune systems are fragile in the first 8 weeks, we don't allow for visitation prior to puppy-pickup day. We're happy to video chat and send pictures!

Can you fly a puppy to us?

We do not put our puppies on cargo flights as it is a very stressful experience for them. You can however arrange for a flight nanny which would be coordinated and paid for outside of North County Doodles. In this scenario, the closet airport is San Diego International Airport.

Do you deliver puppies?

We'll coordinate a date and location to pick up your puppy, typically at 8 weeks of age. We're located in west Escondido and will deliver within a 20 mile radius at no extra cost.

How do I reserve a puppy?

Please fill out the adoption form and venmo your $500 deposit to @NorthCountyDoodles.

Do you offer breeding rights?

We offer breeding rights for an additional $1000 at time of purchase, otherwise, all puppies are contracted to be spayed within 12 months of purchase.
